Baked corn tortilla chips

Baked Corn Tortilla Chips

Baked corn tortilla chips are healthy and very tasty. With only three ingredients and under 15 minutes, you can make this from the comfort of your home. It is a gluten-free snack. The chips are crunchy, crispy and very delicious.

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (approx. 180 degrees C).
  • Spread the tortillas out and lightly brush both sides with oil. You could also spray the tortillas with oil from a spray bottle.
  • Cut the tortillas into four, six or eight wedges. You could even cut them into strips. Stacking the tortillas into one pile before cutting them would make the job faster.
  • Spread the cut tortillas on a baking sheet in a single layer. Then sprinkle salt over the tortillas.
  • Bake them for about 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown. Don't forget to rotate the baking sheet so that the chips could develop uniform shade.

Ingredients

6  - 8 corn tortillas

1 tbsp vegetable oil

Sea salt to taste
