How to make cranberry jam

Cranberry jam is a delicious combination of sweet and tangy. Cranberries are a superfood that is very rich in Vitamin C, they are loaded with many nutrients that are beneficial to health. When they are in season, making them into jam is a way to preserve and enjoy them for a long time.

Directions

  • Extract the juice from the cranberries either raw or cooked method, or the combination of both (1/2 raw method and 1/2 cooked method). Do not extract all the nutrients from the pulp so that the jam can also have some nutrients. This recipe can be used to make cranberry jam with fresh whole cranberries too. Just swap the pulp with the whole berries.
  • Add the pulp into a sauce pan, add cloves, cinnamon stick and sugar, mix to combine. Set it on a stove and cook it over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring it intermittently so that it does not burn.
  • After 10 minutes or more, remove it from heat and pour it into jars. Refrigerate them when they cool. Enjoy!

Pulp from 8 cups cranberries

1 cinnamon stick

1 tsp ground cloves

1 cup sugar
