How to make the best Guacamole

 When you have a lot of ripe avocados, make a very delicious spicy guacamole.  Guacamole is a popular Mexican dish made with avocados, jalapenos, onions, cilantro, lime, tomatoes and salt. It could be modified to suit any taste bud. Guacamole is a very healthy dish made with nutrient dense ingredients and also very delicious that you can't get enough of it.

Directions

  • Slice and dice onion and jalapeno. Transfer them into a molcajete (natural stone mortar & pestle), add some salt and squeeze in the juice of half lime then crush them a little bit. Set it aside and let it pickle while you prep the other ingredients. You could also use a mixing bowl if you do not have a stone mortar.
  • Slice and dice tomatoes and cilantro and set aside.
  • Cut avocados into two, remove the pit, scoop the fleshy part and add to the molcajete. Mash with the pestle gentle if you want chunky guacamole. If you are using a bowl, mash avocados with a fork. Squeeze the other half lime over the guacamole (the lime prevents the guacamole from turning brown), add salt to taste and mix to combine. Add sliced cilantro and chopped tomatoes and mix to combine. You can eat it immediately or cover it tightly and refrigerate it until ready to eat.


Ingredients

3 large ripe avocados

2  Roma tomatoes, diced

1 jalapeno, chopped

1/2 bulb onion, diced

1 bunch cilantro

1 lime/lemon

Sea salt to taste
